Changing demography and hardship in sustenance of the common people in the specific regions are going to cause a new narrative which will undermine the relevance of political boundaries. The fall of Berlin wall mostly explained as phenomenon as a soviet led communist block fall should be perceived as a sustainability issue for the people of east Germany which got driven by the need of sustenance and emotions. The uprising hardship in the Pak Occupied Kashmir (PoK) is shaping the mood of the people there to get aligned with India to meet their needs of sustainability for livelihood.

Over a period of time the various organizations created within the United Nations have become irrelevant and meaningless as they have failed in checking the incidence like Russia- Ukraine war and their inadequate efficacy in checking the corona pandemic got exhibited amply. In recent past economically weak nation like Pakistan are getting into the debt trap of Nation like China with new profiteering formula by lending money for their imperialist agenda. The Story of economic turmoil in Srilanka and leasing its port for 99 years to China after it failed debt repayment to Chine is an eye opener to comprehend the issue how sustainability for livelihood has gone for toss and it has been undermined due to poor governance, elite -centric policy and corrupt governments in some of the countries.

Ultimately the citizens will not attach importance to the political ideologies which keep them together in a political boundary and they will have no other option but to align their affiliation where they will feel secure for sustainability of livelihood and ease of life.

The way Pakistan is heading towards economic crisis it is anticipated in next couple of years this country may get fragmented into 3 to 4 pieces as it will not be able to keep the boundary intact not primarily due to aggression by any other country but because people there will be compelled to demand for better livelihood with new changed order of the political boundary.

In eastern Europe, Latin America and Africa some of the nations are already strained due to misgovernance and people there are not meeting the proper civic amenities which is causing horror in their mind to come out and blur the political boundaries for better wellbeing and for their livelihood.

Time is not far way when political boundaries will have no meaning and the whole world will be divided amongst approximately one dozen odd regions as per their demography and natural resources and finally there will be one government council which will govern the entire people of the world with a priority to look after them well and make them sustainable through these one dozen odd representatives as governors.

It makes sense for the nations to sense the alarm and to devise ways and means assigning priority for “ease of life” rather than “ease of business”. The digital divide is going to make problem more cumbersome for sustainability for livelihood and it is high time skill and engineering resources get aligned to do the needful for the sustainability of the common man. Gramin Samridhi Foundation is working on collaboration with like minded stakeholders and on technologies for “ease of life” to contribute its share to meet the challenges of sustainability for livelihood.
